Paul Trains With Toffees - Ipswich Town News
On loan keeper Paul Gerrard has revealed that he is still spending much of his time training with Everton. Gerrard joined the Blues last Saturday and made his debut in the 2-0 win against Watford.
Gerrard told the club site that a reunion with Joe Royle and Willie Donachie was one of the key reasons behind his decision to join Town.
However, despite joining Town for matches he is spending little time on the training field with the Blues: "It's part of the deal that I carry on training up here but Joe is looking at me coming down at the end of the week to work with the lads and prepare for Saturday's match against Coventry."
There is a clause in the deal which means that should Richard Wright or Steve Simonsen pick up an injury Gerrard's one-month loan can be cut short.
