Platt Wanted Bent - Ipswich Town News
England U21 manager David Platt put in a late request to have Darren Bent join Darren Ambrose at the U21 get-together this week.
Platt called Town on Tuesday night to ask if Bent could join up with his squad today. However, the club decided that the young striker had been involved in too much footballl of late and so he remained in Suffolk.
Darren Ambrose returns to training with Town tomorrow after the get-together at Burnham Beeches.
