Blues boss Kieran McKenna says he has paid no attention to the speculation linking him with various managerial job vacancies in the Championship in recent weeks.
The Town manager, who has previously said that he sees his position at Portman Road as a long-term one, has been mentioned in connection with the vacancies at Watford, West Brom, Middlesbrough and Huddersfield, either by bookies or in speculative articles, while fans of some of those clubs have expressed their interest in him taking over at their sides on social media.
"It's honestly not something I pay any attention to,” the Northern Irishman insisted. "I don't go on social media and I don't have any social media accounts. I focus on my day-to-day job here.
"I know I've got a fantastic job at a fantastic football club with so much ahead of us and so much that we want to achieve, and there's not space in the day for one second really to veer or look beyond that.”
He added: "I think that's the nature of football for all managers. If you're doing well with a club, then there's going to be interest from above.
"Then, if you're not doing well, there's going to be criticism and people who want to say you should be doing things differently.
"That's the nature of the job and I think the best thing to do is focus on what you're doing and let other people make the judgements on that, positively or negatively.”
