Watford Not After Brown - Ipswich Town News

Watford are reported to have dismissed the suggestion that they are interested in Town defender Wayne Brown. Yesterday Joe Royle made Brown available on a free transfer.

As reported earlier Watford have deep financial problems which made any move for Brown look unlikely. This appears to be the case, although it is clear there was earlier interest in Brown, but at a time when Town were demanding a fee for his services.

Brown spent a successful three-month spell at Vicarage Road last season.
