U18s in FA Youth Cup Action - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U18s are in FA Youth Cup first-round action against Aveley at Portman Road this evening.
Essex-based non-league side Aveley have already won five ties to reach this stage of the competition, most recently a 3-2 home victory over Cheshunt.
Fans will be housed in the Cobbold Stand, home supporters in Block C and away fans in Block E.
Season ticket holders will be admitted free, with tickets available on the turnstiles otherwise £3 for adults and £1 for concessions. The game will not be streamed live online.
Last season, Town exited at the third round stage after losing 5-1 to Tottenham Hotspur, having won 4-1 at Aldershot in round two and thrashed Winslow United 7-1 at home in the first.
Town have won the FA Youth Cup on three occasions, in 1973, 1975 and 2005.
