Town's Director of Communications and Marketing Alesha Gooderham will leave Portman Road at the end of the year. Australia-born Gooderham is leaving to spend more time with her family.
She says that her job at Portman Road was taking up too much time: "My youngest is six months old and I returned to work part-time, but I found I wasn't working two to three days a week — it was four to five and then there were evening meetings.
"It's not fair on the family, so I felt it was best to give this up."
She denied that she was leaving as part of any cost-cutting exercise.
