U18s Drawn at Gosport Borough or Bromley in FA Youth Cup - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U18s have been drawn away against Gosport Borough or Bromley in round two of the FA Youth Cup.
The young Blues comfortably progressed from round one by thrashing Essex non-league side Aveley 9-0 at Portman Road on Wednesday.
Gosport and Bromley meet next Thursday to determine who will host Town. Round two ties must be played before Saturday 26th November.
Last season, Town exited at the third round stage after losing 5-1 to Tottenham Hotspur, having won 4-1 at Aldershot in round two and thrashed Winslow United 7-1 at home in the first.
Town have won the FA Youth Cup on three occasions, in 1973, 1975 and 2005.
