Palfrey Appointed Foundation Director - Ipswich Town News

Town have appointed Dan Palfrey, previously the club's PR manager, director of the Ipswich Town Foundation.

Palfrey started working at Town in 2017 and was made a trustee of the Foundation, which was initially known as the Community Trust following its reinstatement in 2019, in November last year.

He will work alongside head of community Jason Curtis providing structure and strategic direction for the club’s charitable wing while providing a link to the club itself.

"We are delighted to appoint Dan in this role,” CEO Mark Ashton told the club website.

"The process involved a substantial amount of thought and, after conversations with the Foundation’s trustees, we are pleased to have made this decision.

"The Foundation has grown tremendously in recent years and it is vital that we continue to place it at the forefront of everything we do.

"Dan has worked incredibly hard for the football club and will continue to do so for the Foundation.”

Palfrey added: "I am thrilled to move into this position. I have worked closely with the Foundation since its relaunch in 2019 and I look forward to helping with the continued growth of the lcub’s charitable arm.”
