Buxton Cup Date Set - Ipswich Town News
Town’s FA Cup second-round tie against National League North side Buxton at Portman Road will be played on Sunday 27th November with a 5pm kick-off for live broadcast overseas.
Although the match wasn’t one of those picked for live coverage here when they were announced yesterday, it is among those being screened abroad.
The Blues defeated Bracknell Town 3-0 at Bottom Meadow on Monday, while the Bucks beat Merthyr Tydfil 2-0 in their first-round tie.
Earlier this week, TWTD caught up for former Town midfielder and current Buxton assistant coach Tommy Miller, who was delighted with the draw.
Miller is also among the guests on Saturday's Life's a Pitch on BBC Radio Suffolk (midday-2pm).
