Osman, Sheehan and Wilson at Blue Monday Event After Cheltenham Match - Ipswich Town News

The Blue Monday podcast team are hosting an in-person event at Portman Road after Town’s game against Cheltenham on Saturday with Blues legend Russell Osman in attendance along with ITFC Women’s manager Joe Sheehan and club captain Blue Wilson answering audience questions.

Blue Monday’s Rich Woodward explained: "We’re hugely grateful to ITFC for hosting us at Portman Road - it's not something we ever envisaged when we started up in 2015!

"This is our second in-person event and we’re really excited to bring Town fans together. Hopefully the Cheltenham game will give us plenty of positive things to discuss!”

"We’ll have quizzes, giveaways, the usual football chat, plus we have a bona fide club legend in Russell Osman giving his views on the game and answering questions.”

As a committee member of the newly-formed ITFC Women Official Supporters Club, Rich is also pleased to involve ITFC Women staff in the event.

"The women’s game continues to grow locally and nationally, and ITFC Women are really ambitious to play at the highest level,” he said. "It will be great to hear first-hand about their passion and determination to succeed

"We’ll also have members of supporters groups around to chat to people too, including the new ITFC Women Official Supporters Club, so people can find out more about how to get involved.”

Blue Monday’s event starts at 8pm in the Sir Bobby Robson Suite with doors opening at 7.30pm. Tickets are needed for entry and can be purchased online here.
