Blues Host Pompey in Papa Johns Trophy - Ipswich Town News
Town have been paired with Portsmouth in the Papa Johns Trophy round of 32.
The Blues will play at home having won their first-round group with Pompey having been second in theirs. The tie will be played in the week commencing 21st November.
Town beat Danny Cowley's side 3-2 at Portman Road last month in the only meeting of the sides so far this season.
Conor Chaplin, Marcus Harness and Gassan Ahadme (loan) are all former Pompey players, while Blues striker Joe Pigott is on loan at Fratton Park this season and ex-Town loanee Ryan Tunnicliffe is also in the Hampshire side's squad.
