No Hermann Bid from WBA - Ipswich Town News

Town manager Joe Royle has refuted a suggestion that West Bromwich Albion have made a renewed bid for defender Hermann Hreidarsson.

The Icelander has been attracting a lot of attention lately with Birmingham City watching him several times and Everton also reported to be keeping an eye on him.

Royle says that there is nothing in the West Brom link: "That news to me. I haven't heard anything from Albion about Hermann."

In the summer Hreidarsson was twice in negotiation with the Birmingham side after a fee of £3.3 million was agreed between the clubs. Hreidarsson turned down the move preferring to remain at Portman Road.
