Gills on Brown - Ipswich Town News
Gillingham have confirmed their interest in Town defender Wayne Brown, as reported earlier in the week. Manager Joe Royle is allowing Brown to go on a free transfer with Watford and Wimbledon also linked.
Gills coach Wayne Jones said of the 25-year-old: "We are interested in him but we understand there is interest from other clubs.
"Watford are just one club looking at him and that could make it difficult because we know he was on loan there last year.
"We may not be out in front to get him but he would help us a lot."
