Dons Deny Brown Link - Ipswich Town News
Wimbledon manager Stuart Murdoch has refuted rumours linking his side with Town defender Wayne Brown. The 25-year-old is being released on a free by the Blues.
Murdoch, a former Ipswich headmaster, says that Brown is only being linked with his side as he was on loan with the Dons last season.
Another one of Brown's four loan clubs, Watford, look the favourites to sign him with a meeting bwtween Brown and Hornets' manager Ray Lewington scheduled for next week.
Portsmouth, Gillingham and Norwich have also been linked.
