Holland Sunderland Link - Ipswich Town News
Tabloid reports claim that Sunderland manager Howard Wilkinson plans to bid £5 million for Town skipper Matt Holland when the January transfer window opens.
Earlier in the week reports claimed Aston Villa might be ready to renew their
attempts to take Holland to Villa Park.
If the Sunderland story is correct, the Blues skipper is unlikely to get a glowing recommendation of life at the Stadium of Light from Marcus Stewart who has largely been a spectator since Wilkinson took over and is understood not to be on good terms with his new boss.
