Bent on Hospital Visits - Ipswich Town News

Town striker Darren Bent has commented on the stomach pains which forced him to visit hospital twice on Saturday night.

The 18-year-old found the whole inceident very scary: "I've never felt pain like it before. I was in agony and it was really frightening because I had no idea what was wrong with me. I thought my stomach had burst," he told the Colchester Gazette.

"I tried sitting, walking around and lying down but nothing I did shifted the pain.

"I was travelling home with my mum, uncle and little cousin and it was pretty scary for them too. They had to follow the ambulance to hospital.

"I was in hospital for four hours the first time. It was odd because I felt absolutely fine during the game. I felt better yesterday and went off to training this morning."
