Town Draw Morecambe Again - Ipswich Town News
Town have been drawn at home to Conference League side Morecambe in round three of the FA Cup. It's the third time in three years the Blues have faced non-league opposition at this stage with Morecambe their opponents two years ago. Town visited Dagenham and Redbridge last season.
The 2000/01 match against Morecambe was played at their Christie Park ground, the Blues running out 3-0 winners with goals from Marcus Stewart, Alun Armstrong and Jermaine Wright.
Morecambe, currently fifth in the Conference, overcame Chester City in round two, the game ending 3-2. Previously they beat Grantham Town and Chesterfield.
The tie will be played on either January 4th or 5th.
