Burley to Aberdeen? - Ipswich Town News
Former Town boss George Burley is reported to be in the running for the job of Aberdeen manager. The Scot is reported to be on the shortlist of candidates drawn up by the Pittodrie board.
Burley himself seems keen on the idea: "Aberdeen are a very big club and I would welcome the chance to speak to them.
"I've had a bit of a breather after being in management for 11 years and I'm keen to get back into the game.
"I am completely open-minded. I have spoken to a few people but I have to make sure everything is right for me before I rush back into anything.
"Aberdeen are a good club with an impressive European pedigree and I'd be interested in talking to them if they thought I was the right man for the job."
