Youngsters Matt Richards, Ian Westlake and Nabil Abidallah are all in Joe Royle's squad for Tuesday's re-arranged league game at Brighton.
Missing are Tommy Miller (tendinitis) and Chris Makin (hamstring) while the game has come too early for Martijn Reuser who is still on the way back after his knee operation.
Marcus Bent is likely to be involved in Wednesday's reserve game at Watford.
