Gaardsøe Man of the Month - Ipswich Town News
Danish defender Thomas Gaardsøe walked the TWTD Player of the Month poll with a whopping 75% of the 1000-plus voters feeling he was Town's best player during November.
Gaardsøe's switch to the centre of a three-man defence has been one of the biggest successes of the Joe Royle era so far.
After his appearance against Coventry City the tall Dane reached 20 Town appearances, the point at which Town had to pay a top-up on his fee, £100,000 going in the direction of former club AaB Aalborg. A further payment is due when he plays his 40th game for the Blues, probably by the end of the season.
