Loanee Latest - Ipswich Town News

On loan striker Richard Logan scored the first goal of his spell at Boston United on Saturday as the Pilgrims beat Southend 4-2.

Former Town defender Neil Thompson, now manager at York Road, gave Logan the first start of his loan spell. The striker has been offered a free transfer by Town.

Matteo Sereni's return to action seems to have spurred his Brescia side on and they were once again victorious on Sunday, beating Perugia 3-1.

The Rondinelle are currently 13th of 18 but since Sereni came back from the hip injury sustained in his summer car crash they have been on the up, even beating Juventus last weekend.

Ulrich Le Pen's Strasbourg side drew 0-0 with Auxerre with the Town loan player coming on as a 53rd minute sub. Le Pen had been suffering with an injury after the previous week's defeat at home to Rennes.
