Miller Drops Out - Ipswich Town News

Town central defender Justin Miller has dropped out of this evening's reserve side facing Charlton at the Valley (KO 7pm) due to an ankle injury.

Miller, just back from an impressive loan spell at Leyton Orient, picked up the injury in training on Tuesday, although it is not thought to be too serious. Lee Chaffey is promoted from the bench.

The 22-year-old South African was hoping to have an opportunity to show Joe Royle what he can do. So far the new Town manager has not seen him in action due to Miller's three-month spell at Brisbane Road.

Revised reserves side: 1 James Pullen, 2 Erkan Okay, 3 Matt Richards, 4 Lee Beevers, 5 Lee Chaffey, 6 Matt Bloomfield, 7 Nabil Abidallah, 8 Ian Westlake, 9 Marcus Bent, 10 Finidi George, 11 Martijn Reuser. Subs: 12 Steve Burton, 13 Lewis Price, 14 Dean Bowditch, 15 Sam Morrow, 16 Matt Robinson.
