Darrens Can't Go On Camp - Ipswich Town News
Town have refused permission for Darren Ambrose and Darren Bent to attend an England U19 and U20 training camp at La Manga in January.
Les Reed, the FA's acting Technical Director, has approached clubs asking for permission to involve their players in the camp which lasts from January 3rd until 11th.
Town have withdrawn Darren Ambrose from recent U19 and U20 matches due to his commitments with the Blues. During the period of the camp Town face Morecambe in the FA Cup and Burnley in the league.
Town will allow Matt Bloomfield to go on the camp if he is selected. The midfielder was on the FA's provisional list.
