Wilnis Doubtful - Ipswich Town News

Fabian Wilnis is a doubt for Town ahead of Thursday's league game away at Leicester City. The Dutchman collapsed after Saturday's match against Portsmouth at Fratton Park.

Wilnis was involved in a clash of heads with Pompey's Svetoslav Todorov and has no recollection of the closing stages of the game: "I can't remember the final two minutes of the match.

"I remember clashing heads with Todorov at a corner but not much else. When the whistle went I felt really sick and dizzy. I went down to catch my breath and then got up again but I had only walked a few more yards when I felt sick again.

"My vision was blurred, my head was spinning and I couldn't carry on. It was really scary."

Joe Royle is hopeful that Wilnis will be fit to face Leicester on Thursday.

Other Town casualties after Saturday are Chris Makin (sore hip), Tommy Miller (calf) and Jim Magilton who is still sufferng with a groin injury.
