Town's players are back in training today after a rather short summer and begin their endeavours with a swift jog round Chantry Park. Some players, including David Johnson and Fabian Wilnis, have already started to get themselves into shape, but the rest with the exception of Richard Wright and Matt Holland (both are let off due to their international appearences over the summer). Richard Naylor will also be missing from training as he is still recuperating from his tendinitis operations. He can now bend both knees and is hopeful that he will be in contention for the start of the season at White Hart Lane.
Nothing new on the Richard Wright situation as yet. Expect more Barnett quotes as the day goes on. Wright's agent continued pleading his innocence regarding the stand-off between the two parties on local TV last night.
Jonas Axeldal is reported to be interesting Swedish club AGF. Town released the striker at the end of the season.
