Royle Denies Rumours - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Joe Royle has denied the weekend's tabloid transfer rumours. According to one paper Darren Ambrose and Andy Marshall were to become targets of Arsenal while another suggested the Blues were intending to spend £3 million on Darren Huckerby.
Neither story appeared to have any credibility and Royle confirmed that there is nothing in them: "We have had no enquiries about any of our players. I have not spoken to Kevin Keegan about any of his players."
