Charvet Deal Unlikely - Ipswich Town News
Town manager Joe Royle has admitted that it now looks very unlikely that French defender Laurent Charvet will be moving to Portman Road.
Charvet wants a deal until the end of the season while the Blues are only prepared to offer him a monthly contract. Royle says the only way the ex-Manchester City, Chelsea and Newcastle player will now join the Blues is if he hasn't found himself a new club towards the end of the transfer window.
Charvet had been training with Monaco prior to his trial with Town and is also reported to be interesting Sochaux.
