Wolves Refute Burley Link - Ipswich Town News
Wolverhampton Wanderers have refuted rumours that former Town boss George Burley is set to take over at the helm of the Midlands club.
Chief executive Jez Moxey says there is nothing in the stories: "I've heard some suggestion that George Burley is staying at a local hotel and is going to have talks with us.
"It's total rubbish and I want to quash the rumour right away.
"Given our recent run of results, there's bound to be stories like this circulating but the important point is that everyone at the club is sticking together and concentrating on the job of improving results."
