Weaver Loan Link - Ipswich Town News
A national newspaper is linking Town with a loan move for Manchester City keeper Nicky Weaver. The 23-year-old was a key member of Joe Royle's promotion-winning side at City but lost his place during their subsequent relegation from the Premiership.
The ex-Mansfield keeper hasn't played a first team game since last March when he picked up a knee injury. However, he is due to get back to action on Wednesday as City's reserve side face Sheffield Wednesday.
