Clapham on Move - Ipswich Town News
Jamie Clapham says he would relish a move back to the Premiership with Birmingham City after the two clubs agreed a fee of £1.5 million plus bonus payments. The deal is expected to be confirmed in the next 48 hours.
Clapham says that he would be sad to leave Town but would love a move back to the top flight: "At Ipswich we are looking to make a swift return to the Premiership via the play-offs at least and there is a good spirit about the place, and I will be sorry to leave.
"But the economic situation means that the club is being forced to sell players and this is an exciting opportunity for me to bounce back to the Premiership faster than expected."
