Logan in Drinking Slur - Ipswich Town News
On loan Town striker Richard Logan has been on the end of stinging criticism from long-serving Boston team-mate Paul Bastock. Logan has done well at York Street and Neil Thompson hopes to make the move a permanent one.
Bastock admits he has been impressed with Logan's scoring abilities but feels he is letting the side down in other areas. Writing in his Guardian column he says: "After scoring six goals in five games Richard Logan is the new cult hero - everybody loves him.
"But, after going out with him on New Year's Day, I can let you into a secret: although he's a terrific finisher at putting the ball in the net, Richard's not so hot at finishing his drinks. After six or seven pints he's had enough."
Logan is currently in his second loan month with the Pilgrims.
