Bolton Wanderers players and manager have been hit with surprisingly minimal fines after their ill-disciplined display against Town in the play-off semi-final second leg in May. The club itself has been fined £25,000 with the individuals involved also fined: Paul Warhurst a £2,500 fine, Gudni Bergsson £1,500. Paul Ritchie and Michael Johanson were fined £750 each.
Sam Allardyce and Jimmy Phillips were both fined £500 for comments about Barry Knight, the referee.
