Ladapo to Miss Trip to Bristol City - Ipswich Town News
Striker Freddie Ladapo has been ruled out of Wednesday’s trip to Bristol City with the achilles injury which saw him miss Friday’s abortive visit to his old club Rotherham United with Wes Burns and Elkan Baggott also sidelined.
A timetable is yet to be set for Burns, who suffered a shoulder injury while away on Wales duty and was due to see a specialist last Wednesday.
Ladapo picked up his knock in training during the international break, while Baggott felt some stiffness in his back while away with Indonesia.
"Not too bad,” manager Kieran McKenna told TownTV when asked about the injury situation going into the visit to Ashton Gate.
"Elkan’s still got a little bit of stiffness with his back since he came back from international duty, nothing too major we think, but he’s not training yet.
"And Freddie’s not going to make this one unfortunately, but he’s recovering well and he’s not too far away.”
