Bent Fee Too High - Agent - Ipswich Town News

Marcus Bent's agent Charles Burt has claimed that Town have received interest in his player from several Premiership clubs. However, the Blues' £3 million valuation of the striker is putting them off.

Burt says: "All the buying clubs at the moment are interested in Marcus. Bolton, Birmingham, Tottenham, West Brom and West Ham have all asked about Marcus but they all seem to baulk at the fee.

"He's got the lot, pace, power, and an eye for goal. He has shown he can perform at the top level but, unless Ipswich lower their asking price, I can't see a deal materialising."
