Gaardsøe Wins TWTD Award - Ipswich Town News
Danish defensive linchpin Thomas Gaardsøe has won the TWTD Player of the Month award for December. It is the second consecutive month that the ex-AaB man has won the poll.
In November Gaardsøe gained a massive 75% of just over 1,000 votes and in December he did even better, notching 76% of over 1,400 votes.
Well back in second on 12% was Pablo Couñago while Matt Holland was third on 4.3%.
Gaardsøe has florished under Royle's management and scored three goals in three games over the Christmas period.
