No Snub From Joe - Ipswich Town News
Joe Royle has refuted suggestions that he snubbed the post-match press conference at Turf Moor on Saturday. He says a mix-up in communications prevented him attending.
Royle did the usual TV interviews but no one came to escort him to the media lounge for the conference.
The Town manager was not pleased that a number of Sunday papers implied he had given the press the cold shoulder: "It was certainly not a snub, but a breakdown in communications. I will have to have a word with Stan Ternent."
