Blackburn Rovers have confirmed that they have received an enquiry from an unnamed club regarding defender John Curtis. As reported over the weekend Curtis has been linked with a move to Town.
With the financial situation as it is, Town are not able to buy anyone at present. If they are the club after Curtis then a loan deal looks likely.
The 24-year-old has featured only six times for Rovers this season, the last time in the 2-2 draw with West Ham at the end of December when he was substituted at half-time. He recently stated that he has resigned himself to a future away from Ewood Park.
Curtis actually made his debut for Manchester United at Portman Road, in the Worthington Cup in 1997/98 when the Blues won 2-0. He was also a loanee in the Barnsley side which Town beat 4-2 at Wembley to reach the Premiership.
He joined Blackburn from Old Trafford in June 2000 for £1.5 million and has made 77 appearances for the Ewood Park club, scoring no goals.
