Charvet Joins Sochaux - Ipswich Town News

French defender Laurent Charvet has joined Sochaux in France on a six month contract. The ex-Manchester City, Newcastle and Chelsea player spent time on trial at Town before Christmas.

Joe Royle, Charvet's manager at City, offered the 29-year-old a short-term deal, however the player was only keen on a longer contract with the Blues.
