Brum Back for Hermann? - Ipswich Town News
Reports this afternoon suggest that Birmingham City could come back in for Hermann Hreidarsson should they fail in the their £3 million swoop for Arsenal's Matthew Upson, a move that is said to have fallen through.
Birmingham have already enquired about taking the Icelander on loan, something Joe Royle has said is of no interest to Town. Reports in Midlands newspapers last week claimed that the Blues had quoted a fee of £2.5 million to Steve Bruce's club.
Upson was thought to have been keen to leave Highbury for first team football, however it appears that the move has broken down with both the player and Arsene Wenger keen that the former Suffolk schoolboy should stay in north London.
