Tanner to Reading - Ipswich Town News

Former Town player Adam Tanner seems to be interesting Reading. Tanner left Town under a cloud earlier this year and spent the last part of the season on a short-term deal at Peterborough. Now a deal with the Berkshire club seems likely: "Reading have made an enquiry and I'm waiting for something to possibly happen". Colchester are also thought ot be interested and Peterborough have already said that he would be welcome back for a trial at the beginning of the season.

Another ex-Town player Gus Uhlenbeek looks likely to be on his way to Hibs.

Simon Milton is going part-time at Portman Road. Currently Milts works both in the club's Community operation and also in the Academy. From this season he will only be doing the Academy work. Milts says the change suits him as he has ambitions in other directions.

As expected Bobby Robson gave Kieron Dyer a dressing down on his return to Newcastle. Dyer has been involved in several incidents over the summer and has rarely been off the frontpages.
