Finidi Still at Club - Ipswich Town News
Town have refuted reports claiming that Nigerian winger Finidi George has left Portman Road after reaching a settlement with the club. The Blues and the midfielder are still in negotiations regarding the player's contract.
Finidi, understood to be the highest paid player at Town on £20,000-a-week, is keen to return to Spain to join his pregnant girlfriend who left the UK just before Christmas.
Finidi is on the way back to fitness after an ankle injury and is continuing to train with Town.
