Reserves Side Named - Ipswich Town News

Town have named the reserves side for tonight's game against Leicester City at Portman Road (KO 7pm). Included are Alun Armstrong, Richard Naylor and Martijn Reuser.

Justin Miller will get the opportunity to impress Joe Royle for the first time, the manager not having seen him in action as yet.

The 22-year-old South African central defender spent the early period of Royle's management on loan at Leyton Orient and subsequently missed a number of second string games due to an ankle injury and then a chest infection.

Richard Naylor is again set to play at centre-half, the position where Joe Royle and reserve team boss Steve McCall feel he will spend much of the rest of his career.

Team: 1 James Pullen, 2 Matt Bloomfield, 3 Matt Richards, 4 Lee Beevers, 5 Richard Naylor, 6 Justin Miller, 7 Nabil Abidallah, 8 Ian Westlake, 9 Alun Armstrong, 10 Dean Bowditch and 11 Martijn Reuser.
