No Ban for Thomas - Ipswich Town News
Contrary to reports elsewhere Town defender Thomas Gaardsøe will not face a suspension after reaching five bookings for the season at Bramall Lane on Saturday.
Two of the Dane's cards came in the UEFA Cup, one in each leg of the Slovan Liberec tie, and these do not count towards his domestic disciplinary record.
On Saturday Gaardsøe picked up a card after clashing with Sheffield United's Steve Kabba. He has also received cautions in the away games against Preston and Leicester.
