Bouzin at Pompey - Ipswich Town News
Unwanted Lorient man Yohan Bouzin has gone on trial at top of the table Portsmouth. The Frenchman impressed in a trial with the Blues last week, although Joe Royle is not going to make an immediate move for the 28-year-old.
Bouzin, a left-sided defender or midfielder, is keen to make a move to England after things failed to work out with Lorient.
Royle said at the end of last week that he sees him as a potential replacement for the departed Jamie Clapham: "He's a left-side midfield player, direct cover for Jamie Clapham if you like. We just wanted to see him and to be prepared if anything was required.
"If something were to happen in the next ten days that meant we needed his kind of player, he's done well enough to say that we would consider him, but at the moment we're not taking anyone."
