Alun in Action at Harwich - Ipswich Town News
Alun Armstrong is the most senior Town player in the squad for Wednesday's reserve friendly with Harwich and Parkeston (KO 7.45pm). The game has been arranged to open new facilities at the Shrimpers' Royal Oak ground.
The squad is mainly drawn from the Academy, Matt Richards, James Pullen, Ian Westlake and Nabil Abidallah the only players other than Armstrong with any first team experience.
Town boss Joe Royle will be in attendence and is involved in the facilities' opening ceremony.
