Mogga Colchester Link - Ipswich Town News
Town coach Tony Mowbray has been linked with the vacant manager's job at Colchester United. Another former Town man, Steve Whitton, left Layer Road by mutual agreement yesterday.
Mowbray is amongst a number of names reported to be in the running. Dagenham's Garry Hill, Burton Albion's Nigel Clough and current Colchester caretaker-manager Geraint Williams are other names mentioned in connection with the position.
When Joe Royle took over as manager at Portman Road he indicated that Mowbray, who had been caretaker-manager after George Burley's sacking, would be allowed to talk to any club interested in taking him as manager.
