Miller Joins Orient - Ipswich Town News
Third Division Leyton Orient have signed Justin Miller on a two-and-a-half year contract. Paul Brush's side had always appeared to be the front-runners for the South African's signature once Joe Royle revealed that his contract with the Blues would not be renewed at the end of the season and made him available on a free transfer.
Miller spent three months on loan at Brisbane Road before Christmas where he impressed. At the end of the spell Town and Miller both turned down Orient's offer of a permanent move.
The 22-year-old failed to make any senior appearances with the Blues, although he did appear as a sub in the pre-season friendly against Celta Vigo. For the last two seasons he has been the reserve team captain, lifting the FA Premier Reserve League (South) trophy last May.
Bournemouth, Carlisle, Northampton and Torquay were also interested in signing the Johannesburg-born player.
