Sereni's Side On The Up - Ipswich Town News
On loan Town keeper Matteo Sereni's Brescia side continued their recent good run with a 4-1 away victory at Piacenza. Brescia are now 12th in Serie A.
Town's other loanee, Frenchman Ulrich Le Pen, didn't have such a good weekend, his Strasbourg side losing 1-0 to Paris Saint Germain.
Both players are on year-long loans back in their home countries. The loan agreements, as well as financial considerations, mean that the Blues cannot call them back this season.
Town negotiated fees for both players payable this summer if their clubs wish to sign them permanently.
