Hermann to Appeal - Ipswich Town News
Red carded defender Hermann Hreidarsson is hoping that referee Clive Wilkes will change his mind about his sending off at Bradford once he has had a look at the video. The Icelander was sent off in the 49th minute after appearing to catch Simon Francis in the face.
Hreidarsson says any contact was unintentional: "It was purely accidental but I have caught him. I played the ball off and was trying to get my body around him to go past and caught him with the flat of my hand.
"I'm big enough to admit if I had done it deliberately, but I have not.
"I will definitely be appealing. Hopefully when he sees it again he will relaise that and change his mind."
