Out of favour midfielder Finidi George is set to sign for Spanish Second Division side AlmerÃa according to a national newspaper. The Nigerian was offered a free transfer by the Blues a few weeks ago with negotiations ongoing regarding a settlement of his contract.

Two weeks ago the Nigerian looked set to join Turkish side Fenerbahce but discussions broke down at an early stage.
